Through its exhibition presence, "The Altar of the Papess" becomes a focal point for the critical exploration of themes related to equality, women's empowerment, and the redefinition of roles in contemporary society.
"The Altar of the Papess" is a work that encourages the viewer to question the challenges women face in overcoming social conventions and to explore the concept of power and patriarchy in gender dynamics.
The combination of different mixes, pigments, and oxides makes this work harmonious and unique, ideal for any type of environment, whether modern or classic, like an old colored terracotta.
The vulva, a symbol of fertility, on the headpiece is made of bronze through lost-wax micro-casting, while the figure is in non-toxic hydro resin and husk recovered from rice processing.
The work can be easily mounted on a wall thanks to the hole on the back or placed on a flat surface.
With our sculptures, we are present in private collections in the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany, Luxembourg, Spain, France, Portugal, Denmark, Austria, USA, Switzerland, Romania, United Kingdom, Poland, Finland, and Italy.
Don't miss this opportunity to add this unique piece to your collection, entirely made in Italy.
